Boost Check on Juice with Attitude!

Today I installed a temperory 60# DiPricol boost gauge to compare it against the Attitude. Here are my results.

Under low boost contunious speed, Attitude read 4 to 5#'s, DiPricol read about 2 to 3#'s.

At 65 mph, Attitude read about 9#'s, DiPricol read about 6 to 7#'s.

WOT at 100+ boost levels were very comparible, max boost was between 39 & 40#s on both gauges.

The Attitude seems to respond slower than the DiPricol Mechanical gauge.

With these results, I will not be installing a permanent boost gauge, the Attitude is close enough for me.

Now to check the EGT's.

Not surprising. The mechanical gauges are most accurate in the middle of their range.

It's been some time but your test showed the MECHANICAL gauge to read close to the electrical Edge Attitude display.

Did you ever get the data back on the EGT #s from a mechanical gauge to the Edge Attitude #s?

That must mean your wastegated at 40psi I would assume. My previous Juice/Attitude and my current TST read pretty close to my Autometer 60psi gauge until about 40psi, that is as high as they read. My II SPS66 is wastegated at 55psi and I see that every run at the track. It is stated in the manual for TST and I believe Juice/Attitude that the boost reading will not read above 40psi.

on your attitude monitor? It is a well known problem on the attitude, nothing over 39. Unless you have a freak monitor,, lol

No, never did, in fact I've sold the Juice and have gone another direction.

When I had the Juice/Attitude & Hot Juice/Attitude both Edge and Autometer pyro sensors were in the top of manifold pre-turbo about an inch apart.

The reading were within +-25*. The digital display is a little slower to respond to change, sub second probably, than the analog gauge. This is the same as my TST EGT pyro sensor that replaced the HOT Juice/Attitude sensor.
