Exclamation Boost

Does anyone know what the stock boost pressure is on an 06 Dodge ??i bought a guage pillar with my guages and for some reason when i get about half throttle my boost guage is already at 30lbs. this doesn't sound right. Let me know what the problem might be so i can fix it. i do have my silencer ring gone and my exhaust open, if this helps any.

Well my 04.5 325/600 would spike to 33-34psi and sustain close to 30psi boost completely stock. That is the numbers that most 04.5-05 have reported. I don't think the 06s would be much if any different. Stock they do spool very fast, especially with improved air flow like you have.

My would run stock at 30 lbs all day which it is meant too. Of course, I saw 33lb spikes every now and then.

i was just making sure. i had only hit around 18-20 in my Ford so i wasn';t use to those kinds of numbers, plus i didn't know if something was wrong with my guage. i guess it looks like i need the 0-60lb guage. plus when i push the throttle half way i get up to 30 which didn't make since but i guess Dodge's just run higher boost numbers.

If your showing 30 psi boost @ 1/2 throttle,I'd say your gauge is off.Mine will only push about 20 psi,@ 1/2 throttle. But it will hit 32+/- as a spike A WOT,& then drop down to 28-29 psi. What does it say @ WOT?

the 06 is not uncommon to see 38-41 psi boost at wot. A different design for the 06 motors. Seach the net for specs and you will find them.
