I have a hard time believing you are slipping the DD clutch. The edge slip reading is useless IMO.

Congrats Black your the envy of most. Now keep breakage to a minimum and appy for the Diesel Truck Challenge so someone who dont drive a Chevy wins this year. I suppose we could all paypal you a couple bucks to bribe the judges at diesel power to let you and Wiggs in it. Im sure they could use a few grand to help decide who really was fastest in the quarter or pulled that sled the furthest.

Hey Wiggs since your frame is the only stock part on your frame you should have a qualified welder fill all the holes in the frame and then fill the rest with sound deadning material. Or concrete. It just sucks to be 99.1 percent modded. Get over that hump man.

Yeah, I was going to say, knowing 30% is rather specific. I mean, I am in tune with my vehicle, but usually I can only know my clutch slipping percentage to the nearest 20%! I am not good enough to narrow it down to 5 or 10% incriments!

It must have been a box stating what the slippage was, but like Jeff said, it's not the most reliable instrument.

I just better see pics up here tomorrow!

Yeah its obviously my edge box that told me this. I dont have a built in slip mointor installed on my body but only in time and evolution.

600-650 if I were guessing with a "best" run in the 675 range if you can dial it in well.

Thats what I was guessing. But If Im lucky I still think I might be able to squeeze out 700. Timinva has a very similiar setup to me and I think he hit 675 without cam, springs, and maybe he didnt have his dual fueler in.

It's all about how well you can dial it in. There is a huge range that your truck (or anyone's) can produce and it all depends on whether or not you can find the "right" combination.

Are you sure it's just not reading the slippage when you take off? I know you've got a wicked combination but slipping a dual disk is pretty hard to do. Not trying to be a horse's behind. Just stating the obvious. Also, I don't think that the edge slippage monitor is a real good tool for measuring slip. Heck, you could be revving so fast through the gears with that kinda power that it might be considering it slippage.
