Maybe its the giggin' we can do in the lake on the Rhino and grizz that have me loving them. I used to enjoy the YFZ and WR alot more when I used to be a little wilder and cruise <- all the back roads in the middle of the night. But now I've kinda shifted interests and the YFZ doesnt get ridden much anymore.

SORRY FOR THE HIJACK

I hear ya! I've been riding since I was a wee lad...4yrs old, and have raced moto in college, and enduro up until about a yr ago or so. Im pretty partial to the bikes, but the rhino's are a great invention. The YFZ, to be honest, Im scared of. I hold a record here in Dallas at one of the Honda shops for the worst wrecked 4wheeler of all time. Racing type 4 wheelers are just not my bag of tea, but give me a 2stk or a 4stk dirtbike and Im right at home in pretty much all conditions. You should sell that WR250 and YFZ and get you a really nice KTM 450XC or 530xc-w (comes street legal now) and be done with it. All a man really needs in life is a dirtbike, rhino, and of course the CTD to get it all there!

Done with the rant and hijack!

Justin you think that maybe that faint popping you're hearing is timing rattle? I know I have it on my truck, but its hard to hear it over the stacks, but when I do it sounds like popping but a constant stream of them, especially getting to wot etc.
the sound is comming out the stacks it is not that loud and it is weird that It was fine for the first two weeks of driving test beating and all of a sudden week or so ago I start to notice this (popping out the stacks very faint though).

Call II and tell them that, I believe there might be some issues with your injectors.

Be glad you got the auto, my truck is still really touchy in the morning when its cold I have to creep out or I'll wake everyone up. Its alot harder to smoothly shift a touchy truck thats cold.

Yep, when I was out dove hunting one of my uncle in-laws was driving while I was on the tailgate (of course not hunting but holding a gun) and we were crossing some sunflower fields. Really bumpy, and everytime we hit a bump he almost threw me off the back because of the touchy throttle. He said he couldnt drive that thing, and why the heck was it so fast.

Bring that lil bull to a fight with this bulldog and your gonna see trouble I already warned you of this!

....but to answer your question and to get back on track, no I havent seen any popping on beta 4.2 yet, however I havent really floored it yet. I think I may be encountering another boost leak or a squeaky serpentine belt. I dont know, but when I go dropping hammer a noise starts...so I havent held it down too long. I want the truck to make it to the shop first for all the other mods I've got on my plate.

I found A leak in the intake plenum were the (Long rectangle gasket is) just some little bubbles of air when idleing. Not sure if that would cause popping at higher rpm or not??

I do have it on sw#7 and after some testing it dose seem to pull alittle harder than sw#9 still some faint popping tho. I do have it on sw#7 and after some testing it dose seem to pull alittle harder than sw#9 still some faint popping tho.

Are the even sw#'s Less timing than the odd sw#s if so what even number should I try and did any one dyno the even #'s compaird to odd?

If there is to much timing dose that mean there is plenty of fuel??

is this the same popping you're hearing?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7oZgrQ0cC8
listen right at the top of 3rd gear before i shift to 4th. It only does this when I've got one of the non-stack RKL programs loaded in my predator with it stacked with my EZ.
what's the cause, too much timing or starving the rail (i've got a bone stock fuel system)?

Starving the rail; watch as the smoke is broke up when you hear the popping. You will also sometimes feel power loss as the popping occurs(studdering in fueling)

the popping is not as loud as that but you can tell it is out of the exhaust, and there is no power loss..

When I had the TNT Tune in it did one LOUD POP definate power loss for a sec then pulled hard till I had to shift then I backed off the timing and no more popping and also did not pull as hard.

I said this before but the preasure stays at 26,500 when the popping occurs with the 4.2 tune on sw#9 and sw#7 in 4th for sure and some times in 5th at high rpms 2800 or so but it is a very faint popping. when I have some spare time I will call Industrial tomarro and see what they have to say..
