I wonder if you could'nt rig an exhaust brake(inline flapper style) to help spool the turbo, while on the line...then,trip a switch with clutch pedal to release and hang on!!!!, or blammo!!!, pause to pick up clutch parts/driveshaft parts.

If anyone wants to try it, I have something like that laying around. Let me know who wants it. 5" with flanges on both sides. It has been used as a door prop for the last 6 months!

Injecting NO2 pre-CAC to garner more low-RPM boost is common enough... you don't have to worry about advancing the timing, since the fuel map will still control it.

Typically, too much nitrous at higher RPM and boost pressure grenades turbos; and you're right - it's pretty impressive! But we're talking about a moderate amount sprayed when the engine & charger aren't under heavy load.

If you inject an excessive amount of NO2 when the engine isn't close to making rated power, you're just leaning it out - not a problem for diesels.

How hard was it to get a line lock to work with the ABS?

You cant spool a turbo with the exhaust brake on
I use the park brake to hold the truck, can't build a ton of boost Usually anything after 10-12 it will take off with the brake on I take off in 3rd

has any one tried shooting water into the manifold before the turbo to spool up the turbo faster since the fact that water shot in even at idle temps 350 or so will still steam up and multiply in volume 10 fold or better. i know we talked about it a year or so ago but don't think anyone done the math or just tried it yet. should work pretty well as long as temps don't climb faster than the boost gauge

I agree with Ramrodd... when I had my 03 handshaker, I'd put my parking brake on, and it would hold about 15psi, then pop it and hold on.

I agree, but that doesnt work so well with a single disk clutch.

Try that exhaust brake, just go out and see if you can build boost with it engaged, no need to fiddle with the clutch. If it don't work, at least other hand shakers like me wont go out and buy an exhaust brake for nothing.
