I used them improperly for the first set of injectors in my truck, no pistons...
I use to run with the ez turned up= no good. Now I just leave it off untill I need it..

I run the MP-8 and had the EZ. I like the fact that I can turn it "off" unlike the EZ. I think I will be switching to the DR.P box tho.

Can a smarty and a mp8 be used on a truck used for towing? Set the mp8 on its lower power level and adj smarty for the power I'm looking for towing while keeping my EGT's low....

I tow with mine all the time, usually with the mp-8 set on a guesstimate 20-30% and the beta 4.4 on sw 1 or 3. Light loads I stay on sw 5 with the mp-8 set low or off. Have almost 60k with this combo now and love it.

Keep in mind that the 03-04s can handle this pressure a little better, 04.5 and up already have a higher pressure from stock, so pressure can take its effect on your 05. But being responsible and alert with what you do set it on you can really benefit from the mp-8. I see a reduction in egts when my pressure is on low then without it.
