Best Leveling Kit????

Ok...Im ready to ditch the HBS's and smooth my baby out cadilac style. I have been thinking about it, reading posts, etx. Cant decide what the best kit to go with is. I dont want a huge lift kit, Im looking at something along the lines of a Lorenze or Kore, etc.

Which one is the best for the money, I just want something safer, and a better ride?

Let me clarify....I want the best leveling kit. .....Lets hear it boys?

What exactly is your opinion of a better ride? That is a huge factor.

Lorenz offers a leveling kit with coils that are 6% or 23% firmer than stock. For me, the stock springs were too washy, especially in turns (and I don't push my truck to handle like Viper either) The 6% coils gave the truck a much more balanced ride and took some of the body roll out of cornering.

This is the thread that stlsparky is refering too, it's a comparo of suspension systems from these companies not leveling kits, but still much useful info there.

Thanks, but Ive read those. I am looking for more of a performance type ride than a hauling set up. I dont want to be limited to straight performance though, I will do some occasional towing. What Im looking for a more comfortable ride quality than stock. The stock front end with HBS 2" spacers gives the truck a more initial harsh ride, but still has the washy feeling to it. Overall the truck rides like a 3/4 ton should, but I was looking to see if I could smooth out the ride, you know like a cadilac! I know thats asking a lot, but what can I do to get a better ride, while still keeping a lifted look w/ big 35" tires??

Basically, which performance kit gives the best ride?

I was asking about the same thing. I think the best you can get (IMO of course) is the lorenz 5100 system with the Dual Purpose Leaf. You can just tell that the DP leaf design will eliminate the rough ride of the rear. Combine that with the 6% springs and valved shocks...

... it's the system I will be piecing together after Christmas.

If you are just looking to level the truck and get the best ride quality, I would go with Lorenz's kit. Nice price and I believe you get the SS endlinks as an udgrade for Christmas.
