Bent Sway Bar End Links with Kore Lift! HELP
Bent Sway Bar End Links with Kore Lift! HELP
I have an 06 Ram with the Kore Recon 3" Lift. After one day of driving I heard a loud pop when making a right turn at a stop light coming down a fairly steep grade. When I got out to look I noticed my sway bar end links are bent (about 50 degrees back toward the springs). Unfortunatlly Kore is closed today so I can't call them for help. Anyone have any ideas?
It appears that the articulation exceeded the length of the sway bar end link, but I would think this shouldn't be possible if everything was working correctly. The sway bar drop blocks were installed.

this may or may not be an option for you personally, but you might wanna try running without a swaybar for a while and see how you like it. i felt a pretty big difference in road manor with mine off.

I noticed a big difference in the corners after tuning the swaybar(s) and airbags... the poly bushings tightened up the transitional feel, and installing the rear swaybar keeps the truck very level in the twisties.
The airbags can do a great job of limiting body roll by themselves, but at those pressures the box gets too jumpy for all the tools and parts stored back there. I think the bars make such a difference on my rig because I'm knockin' on the door of 10K # gross - unloaded.
I love accelerating away from a fancy sports car on a sweeping turn - none has ever had the juice or the stones to keep up yet! I just wish I could tell 'em I weighed 2-3 X more than them...

Lift
I did 2'' lift on my 05. I made blocks to go on sway bar. Blocks are
4.600 X 2.300 I made mine 1.750 thick, you will need to locate
new bolts first. 10 x 1.5 mm mine were 80 mm long. I bought a
Daystar 2'' lift and didnt like material. I copied theirs and made
mine from 6061 Aluminum. Kore sells the blocks you need.
