Which bed liner?
I paid $440 OTD here in San Diego for a long bed over the rails and it looks so sharp. But you could get 5 different quotes from 5 different dealers. Haggle with him and tell him you found it cheaper elsewhere.
Just to be different, I went with Armorthane. It was a toss up between that and the Line-X. I chose this route only because i know the guys where I had it done, they've been in business since '96, they did my '98 and all was well with it, and they'll immediately take care of any issues. Price was the same for both.
Some don't like doing the liner over the bed rails preferring the strength of metal or heavy plastic rail guards to prevent dings in the rails. I definitely prefer a metal tailgate protector than the liner shot over the top, just for the extra strength. That comes from experience of dinging the tailgate when I dropped a section of drill rod on it.
The liner didn't prevent the groove bent into the tail gate.
Sometimes LineX dealers will give you a $35 discount if you are a repeat customer. Ask for it. Definitely negotiate!

Armorthane is AKA?
I have a Armorthane liner but have not heard of anybody having it sprayed here on the forum. Is it a clone or the same as another brand? Just curious. It has held up great with a 700lb balloon being loaded into the truck.

Yep, had it on my '98, and now on my '07. It's not a clone, just their own process and chemicals and stuff. The '98 liner faded a bit, but held up well. The process has improved a bunch since then and they were the first to come out with color matching.
JMHO, but I believe the secret to any of the bedliners, is a reputable dealer that has been doing it for awhile and charts their applicator (pumps, mixers, chemical content) system for consistency to remediate any issues before they happen. I'd stay away from anyone that has not ben doing it very long - just lesser skilled applicator personnel.
Any one of the types of liners can be botched by a fly-by-night dealer. Sometimes the best deal really isn't. And if they do botch it, and have to remove it, how do you feel about someone using a 30 000 psi water jet on your truck to remove it (that's how they take it off)??
I have had two Rhino Liners.(two different trucks) The first one was awesome! Unfortunately, this last one was done by a different company and very poor workmanship. The product itself is nice. I have seen Line-X as well and like them too. My point being wherever you take your truck make sure you check out their work. The guy that did mine sprayed the liner right over the screws that hold the cargo anchors, left small scratches on the cab that I will have to buff out, didn't spray the bottom of the gate, and didn't go over the rail as far as I wanted. I would recommend taping off how far over the rail you want or at least making sure they understand how far over the rail you want. Also make sure they tape of your cargo anchor bolts if case you would ever need to remove them or replace them. I made them respray my gate and put another coat on my rails. I still am unhappy with their skills however, I am covering the rails with diamond plate now. My $.02

I've done the same. My first Rhino has held up pretty nice. It faded quite a bit, but doesn't look bad. With a little dab of that stuff Rhino has for it, it would look brand new again. The one I have now was by a guy that hadn't been in buisness very long. It looks ok, but definately different from my old one. One guy told me it looked like the mixture was wrong on it. Time will tell if it holds up. Good thing it's warrantied for life. Didn't go with Line-X because it's too hard and things tend to slide around to much. Just personal preferance. What ever liner you go with make sure you go with a reputable dealer. That's what really counts!

P.S. I think it was ~$510
Another vote for Line-X, I'd seriously consider going with their new Xtra product, if you can afford it. It has Kevlar micro pulp in it (helps make it even more scratch resistant) and is guaranteed to stay nice and glossy and not to fade. I'd echo the dealer workmanship concerns mentioned earlier, good surface preparation, experience, and just taking the time to do it right are crucial. I'd definitely ask to look at some of the dealer's work, I looked at a couple of my local Line-X dealers' work and was not impressed (overspray between the bed and cab, uneven texture, very limited experience with color-match, etc.) finally found a dealer I liked in Fort Worth.
