What the heck HP is this thing? One brochure of theirs says 130hp, ...another says 150hp,...and a recent post says 200+hp for the DL. I know BDog was working on upgrading the BDDL to accept a program for I think 230HP. Is that available yet? It isn't this Version 1.4 is it?

 

Mine has V1.4 and it's only 130hp.

 

wasn t there a rumor that we would be a able to download the 200 or 230 program from our computers at home?

 

I got mine back last week with v1.5 installed. I think it's the 130hp. It's enough to toast a stock clutch. That I know.

Are you double darn sure it's Version 1.5?? I just got one this week and it's 1.4. Pls advise. If 1.5 is out I'll need to know what the difference is. I appreciate it.

 

I am hanging on to my 1.0 until they figure it out.

 

They offer a version of the Dl for 04.5 + with the Crazy Larry program that bumps it to 200hp it is available but you have to ask for that one specifically, Otherwise it is the standard 130hp program. They will mod you DL'er if you call them and pay the extra money for the program.

I'm 100% sure that it says v1.5 My buddy is Edit at me cause he just bought one that says v1.4 I don't know that there is a difference or not.

Dl is for 03-05. It is just that the "Crazy Larry" program is only for 04.5 and newer.

 

I would bet Crazy Larry will be opening a transmission shop soon. WOW, 200 extra HP! I can't imagine that and how that would feel in our trucks . I can't wait to see some of the posts that come with the new setting. SHould be interesting.

 

I stopped up at Bullydog on the way to vacation February 16 and got my powerpup reflashed in 10 minutes. They installed version 1.5 from my previous version 1.0. I haven't run it yet though due to having a TST/VA stack. I just wanted to get it upgraded just in case.
