Why does my update agent keep saying that it cannot find an internet connection and is working offline?

 

because the update agent is worthless. spends more time down than working

 

I totally agree, but i didn't think you could do it any other way anymore. I'm I wrong?

 

if you have dial-up service, by the time your computer establishes a connection, the update agent has already tried to connect with the server and couldn't. next time it does that, hit the 'x' when that pop up comes on your screen and it will re-try to connect to the server. i've found by learning a few little tricks, you can use the update agent relatively hassle free.

Exactly as stated above ^^^. The server is always down at bullydog its junk, if you can get the tune emailed to you, you will only need to have the driver installed and wont need to connect to update agent just unzip the file double click the new file then select triple dog full memory downloader and hit update.
