Be sure to use the small spring with NO washers.
Also, turn up the reapply voltage a little more that it came with so it will let off boost during fast shifts. There's a voltage "bounce" when you shift fast that will trick the valve controller into opening the valve for a nanosecond (or so it seems) instead of the proper duration.
On my truck with the SPS66 it seems to be happiest when blowing off for about 1/2 second. I have the valve set to blow off on nearly every shift.
When driving my truck, it acts like a gasser's BOV, just like it should. It took a lot of tweaking and some help from Christian at BD, but now it's SWEET

And another thing-
Don't tap the manifold for the pressure line that goes to the actuator valve. You'll have boost leaks on fast shifts.
You need to put a T in the wastegate hose on your turbo and run a 1/8" line to the actuator valve. This will help push the valve closed better than tapping the manifold after the valve. Don't worry about flow with this hose. It's only for pressure, there's no flow. A nylon air brake hose is perfect for this application.
