hi guys,any one tried the new bd evolution programmer?they claim 130hp increase,im not to familiar with the 3rd gens but my dads in the market for some mods,he likes the programmer idea,hes driven my 2nd gen with a smarty and a comp and he likes,will the bd programmer be similar to the smarty?thanx

 

come on someone must have one or tried one of these programmers???

 

i was gonna buy one but bought bully dog triple dog instead. i think its is a better programer than the bd, i have a bd box on mine and its works good with the bully dog, but i choose the bully dog because i heard good things when stacked together.

 

very few on here run BD. In fact Very few on all the boards Im on run BD. And I dont think ive seen any trucks that make BIG power runnin BD either. Not sure why. I kinda wish they had more popular stuff. Im 20 min from their shop but I wont run thier stuff because there is not enough feedback on it.

 

i had mine dyno'd with all of the stuff on it, cold air, exhaust and just the bd chip, it came out at 415 hp and 797 trq. not to bad i thought.

 

Thats pretty good. What were the EGTs like?

 

i have their exhaust and short shifter. both i like.. their twin setup looks to be pretty good, as is most of their hardware components.. their electronics stuff mostly is rebranded edge and others..

 

I use BD RAD, What BD makes is unique or just a relabel of others stuff. The unique stuff is good and the relabeled stuff is good stuff from others....some people may like the big brand original label and sticker for their truck. ks
