BD Engine Brake Not Engaging?

Hi all. This is my first post.

I just bought a 2003 CC Dually CTD 5.9. I finally have the truck I really need.

Anyway, the truck is equipped with an auto, I suspect very hightly it is the 48RE, because I have the C in the vin and ETH on the body tag indicating an HO engine/48RE 302/555 combo.

Anyway, I went out to test the brake...I got it up to 100km/h (55mh) down a steep hill, flipped on the toggle switch which did light up, let off the throttle and....nothing. No braking action.

I downloaded the instruction from bd which describe installation tests as follows:

Turn toggle on at idle, engine brake should engage (Yes, it does this)
Rev engine above idle, engine brake disengages (Yes it does)

Any advice on where to go from here. I haven't been able to locate a convertor clutch lockup device, which I realize will decrease the amount of brake I will get (And heat up the tranny fluid), but I can't feel any change when I flip the switch on underway. Perhaps the idle setting is too low causing disengagement...how did others set this up?

Thanks,

Chay

Figure it out...for anyone who might be following this long thread.

There was an air leak on an air hose coupling. It's the one between the regulator and the brake. It had enough pressure to move the brake, but not apply any pressure to the exhaust stream. I fixed the hose, now it works like it should.

I still haven't found the electronics module so I can't tell if the convertor clutch is being controlled.
