Backspacer?

Is there some sort of spacer that I can put on my front wheels to push them out a bit, so my 35" procomp MTR's don't rub the control arms? Is this a safe thing to do? Any known problems doing this?

There out there and I run them on my jeep. But after having them for a while on the jeep and always having to tighten them up there is no way I'd run them on my truck.
