So, how much do the studs cost... would this be a mod I should perform now... when I dont have much going on, and be ready for whenever I do go to a new turbo?

 

Just to clarify, are these the 12mm or the 14 mm studs you are speaking of here? Or are the both swapable without head removal?

 

So what was the consensus here on the valves. Do they need adjusted after reinstall or not?

 

The 12mm studs you can swap without removing the head. The 14's have to have the block redrilled and tapped IIRC.

If you've got to remove the rockers to install them then yes you will need to readjust the valves.
