Apologies to Quadzilla
Apologies to Quadzilla
The new wiring harness for my Xzilla came Friday and when I hooked it up all was fine, just as I thought I had a bad harness. When I was satisified it was OK I shut it off and got some tie wraps and dressed it down to make it look neat. When I restarted the truck it threw a code, ran like crap and died just like before. So I unhooked the harness started it back up and started playing with the DODGE FACTORY harness and yep I have a bad wire in the rail pressure harness where it splits from the map sensor harness. Can you believe it! So anyway I have the harness folded and tied till I get a chance to fix it. The Xzilla is great so far. Haven't had much time to play with it, one other thing, on the 100 hp setting and letting the big dog eat, when I shift into 5th gear the clutch slips!
PS: The rail pressure connector was taken off and pulled on several times when the Dodge monkeys were trying to diagnois my injector problems. The clutch had a lot of wear put on it by them holding the brake and letting out the clutch to lug down the engine to make the injectors knock. I did say something about it to the tech but all I got was the deer in the headlights look. What can you do.
Anyway sorry for blaming your harness Quad, if I would have looked a little farther I would have found it before having you ship me a new one.
