A thread I started this morning has been closed down by the moderators/administrators. It consisted of some quotes I imported here from a Ford truck forum.

I've been thinking about this, and while I don't believe my purpose was to incite other people to flame or disrespect or misbehave, I do think that I showed a lack of judgement in deciding to post the quotes.

So I apologize. :-[

In my defense, the virulence and hostility demonstrated on this other forum surprised me, and I wanted to say "Look at what's happening. Can you believe this?" When I thought further about it, however, it became plain to me that I'm shocked by such virulence because it doesn't happen here, or on TDR, or Northwest Bombers, or the other forums I frequent. And that's a credit to the moderators and administrators.
