I'm think I found a great turbo for my set up. I was looking for a 62/12/65 because I want good spool up. When I'm done with my truck I hope I will be around 500 HP. Engineered Diesel can build a 10 blade 68 turbine, with the new borgs 63mm wheel and .70ar turbine housing. They are saying is spools better then a 62 and flow more air then a 64.

My truck right now has F1 injectors(40hp), Quad race, 4" exhaust and my last dino was 396 HP at the rear. Future mod's - Smarty, mod my F1 from 40 hp to 75-90 hp, mod CP3, Fuel boss mech pump, new tranny and new turbo. I think this will get me close to 500 HP. Thanks Guys

 

It may be a great turbo in the right application, but don't believe that it will spool faster than a 62 and flow more than a 64. That will not happen. People say those kinds of things all the time to try and sell stuff but in the real world it won't happen. I hate lag so I would err on the small side. But if you don't tow much and can stand some lag go a bit bigger. But like I said I hate lag.

 

Wish I had this same turbo. Would work great as a single and could be a nice secondary in a twin setup

 

I have a 63/68 in my new compound set (63/68 over s480). I can't really say it spools much different than my previous r700 compound set (Super B for top turboand s475). However there is much more airflow and cooler egt's now.
