has anyone ported their stock exhaust manifold? i plan on doing it to my first gen and if i do it to that i will do it to the new one but just wondering if anyone has done it tips and tricks would be great thanks or even pics? i dont wanna spend 500 bucks on a aftermarket one just looking for cheap easy mods

i just looked up the hp gain on a stock truck with the ats manifold and it was negligible but i imaging with more power the thing will liven up a little bit. i think i will attempt to clean my stocker up a little bit funding is tight.

 

If an ATS gains nothing, you will gain nothing. Stock to ATS flow is not even close.

 

My buddy did it to his when he ported the head. took out alot of material, that was a 24 valve. He claimed that it all helped with spooling and egts. Im running it now but i put it on with a new turbo so cant tell you how it will help.
