Anyone gain mpg with willys whistler?
Anyone gain mpg with ****** whistler?
last tank i got 15 mpg but its winter. im using ****** whistler intake (which rocks). so im betting its the cold that made it worse but i cant wait till summer to figure out mpg again. any1 else using whistler with good results? i just want to mount it better so its more secure. Is it possible with the MORE AIR ****** whistler lets in that it can throw our MAF sensor out by giving it weird readings? which could effect our timing. But i guess AFE would have trouble then to right?
Would the ****** whistler let more air in than a afe pro guard 7 system do u think?

our trucks dont have Mass air flow sensors...they have Intake air temp sensors(IAT)..the IAT does not care how much air flows by it,,,,diesels dont have to run at the perfect Air fuel ratio like gassers...in other words your air intake is not your problem.
Short trips in cold weather = terrible mileage.
These engines get really bad mileage when they're cold. Cold weather keeps them running under operating temps even longer. Winter fuel doesn't help things either.
