That's what I'm looking for......

One day I'm gonna have to drive down to Tomball Tx and buy you a drink MikeyB...

Um, now you know firsthand that the fan will fit, right?

My A/C actually works pretty good so I think I'm just gonna go with the fan and try to mount it a bit off-center too so the hood latch won't hit it. I just did not like seeing my temps get up to 220 degrees and trans temps get that high too while I was towing in traffic....

You can wire your own relay up or buy the one I used and zip tie the temp probe to the tranny cooler. That's what I did. The only trick to mounting the fan is you will need to cut the rubber feet in half and mount it a little higher than I did. Mine does touch my hood latch a little when unlatching the hood. No much to worry about though.

Isn't the trans cooler mounted on the top of the transmission?

Yeah, it's up there somewhere but it is still cooled by antifreeze. My trans temps go up along with the coolant temps and they also come down when the coolant temps drop. So, keeping the coolant temps down should also help keep the trans temps down....

You have a heat exchanger on the block that is used to help heat the tranny fluid up when needed. You also have the cooler up front inbetween the radiator and CAC for cooling. So the tranny fluid goes to the heat exchanger first, then the cooler up front and back to the tranny.

The fan arrived SUPER QUICK from Jegs yesterday. I hope to get it installed this weekend since it will be raining and I will have nothing better to do than work on the truck. Also changing the trans fluid and installing a drainplug in the pan and finally installing my MOPAR running boards I've been working on. Unfortunately the MOPAR Bright Silver Metallic paint sold by Dodge does not match what's on the truck. The paint on the truck seems to have "Browned" slightly. Anyone know if wet-sanding the rockers on the truck may bring the silver back out?

Fan has been installed and WOW is it a tight fit. I actually had to take the rubber mounting feet off altogether in order for the hood to close. I also got an automatic switch with a temp probe so it will come on automatically at my predetermined temperature. I may have to put something in between the fan and condenser eventually but it seems fine for now.

Fan is installed and works great. My Condenser cover is kind of in the way but I did not want to remove it. I also put my bug screen back on over it.....
