Anyone else have problems with ATS injectors?
Sad day, took my pickup back to ats, tore the head off and found #4 & 6 piston with major damage to the top of them, kinda looked like someone took a hammer and chisel and went to town. The other 4 were flawless. Now ats told me it was from the water/meth injection concentration being a 50/50 mix. But thats what snow performance recommends. I believe its from their injectors never working properly when they were installed. I know they replaced #6 four times before it finally worked right. So are my pistons damaged from water/meth or broken injector tips bouncing around in my cylinders? Anyone else had this problem?

If the tips broke off, then that would definitely be a culprit. I don't get how water/meth could cause damage like that because if anything it cools the egts. Sounds like they're trying to get out of it. Do you have any pictures?
no no pics yet. I called snow performance, and they said the same thing. I know for a fact that it wasnt the water/meth. Snow said it was virtually impossible for water/meth to cause such damage. I could see maybe if all the pistons looked like that, but just two out of six and the others are flawless???
I just hate to face the fact that i have dumped $20,000 in to ATS's pockets and this is how I treated. Why sell a product if you cant stand behind it. The price you pay I guess when you want to play.
