my friend has an 06 chevy 2500, with the 6.0 gas motor. his brother has a laptop, with a product called hp tunes. he plugs it into the ecm, and can change shift points, shift pressure, timing, the list is endless. he can change certain things while driving, and others he has to re flash the whole computer...took about 10 minutes. this is a slick item. the software is $100 per vehicle ( vin ), but he can only get chevy and some ford. no dodge. anybody ever seen a program like this for dodge diesel?

 

I believe I have seen an ECM that is programmable for sale like this somewhere, but I am not up to speed on it.

The Dodge code is very complex, unlike the chevy and ford, from what I am told.

 

I know some pepole that have that prgram on chevys and it is called efi live

 

Nothing like that for a Dodge yet.....
