any one have this stack?
I've got that stack on my 305/555. I won't run the Ramifier unless the BDDL is on tow mode, as the tow mode is timing/duration only.
On performance, extreme, and crazy larry the BDDL uses pressure. You can turn them both up to see what happens, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend stacking two boxes using pressure, but people have done it. I know of one guy running a quad race stacked with the BDDL. He seems to like the stack a lot.
This combo smokes like you wouldn't believe, but it does clear up quite a bit once the turbo spools.

AK RAM had done some testing with a rail pressure gauge and the downloader.
According to him, it added no pressure in tow, about 1k in perf, and 2k plus in extreme. Perhaps he'll chime in to correct me, but I believe that's what he stated.

Hmmm, thats interesting. Bully Dog says that the PP only adds pressure in Extreme and CL only, so thats what I was going by. I do wonder if the PP only adds timing and duration, why did the tone ring help my truck so much ? The way these companies work though, who really knows. If someone ever comes up with a rail pressure gauge, we would be able to see exactly what box does what.

Wow...you guys are pulling stuff up from way back. That has been over a year.
BullyDog has changed their downloader power tunes several times since it was released. I have seen several people post the same thing over the last couple months....that there is no pressure in Tow mode or Performance mode. I haven't measured it since last year and have had my downloader reflashed several times since then. I believe I have the latest software version available. I guess it is time to do a little measuring and see what the current tunes do. I'll try to do that tomorrow and post the results.....if I can find a spot of road that isn't covered with ice.

Dont know if you are refering to me but I run the stack also, but the bddl stays on tow all the time, adjust my additional power with the racebox.

Here is what I got. Readings were rounded up to the nearest 100. No claims to my pressure readings' accuracy/reliability. Take it at face value.
Stock
Idle: 6,000 psi
1,500 RPMs: 12,100 psi
2,000 RPMs: 15,900 psi
2,500 RPMs: 20,000 psi
3,000 RPMs: 23,400 psi
Tow
Idle: 6,000 psi
1,500 RPMs: 12,100 psi
2,000 RPMs: 15,900 psi
2,500 RPMs: 20,000 psi
3,000 RPMs: 23,400 psi
Performance
Idle: 6,000 psi
1,500 RPMs: 12,100 psi
2,000 RPMs: 16,100 psi
2,500 RPMs: 20,100 psi
3,000 RPMs: 24,500 psi
Extreme
Idle: 6,000 psi
1,500 RPMs: 12,100 psi
2,000 RPMs: 16,100 psi
2,500 RPMs: 20,100 psi
3,000 RPMs: 25,100 psi
Take into consideration that my truck is an SO. There may be different tunes for different engines. Each RPM was held long enough to get a steady reading, that is why the max reading was at 3,000 RPMs. I can’t hold it steady any higher than that for repeatable readings from one program to another. My truck will fuel to 3,400 RPMs at WOT, so it is conceivable to say that on the Extreme program, 25,500 to 25,800 psi would have been seen.
As you can see, there was a slight pressure increase in the Performance program. It may see 25,000 psi in the Performance program at WOT…maybe. Surprising though that there really isn’t much of a pressure increase on any program below 2,500 RPMs where most people spend most of their cruising time. This would make you think even the Extreme program would be injector friendly.

Ak Ram, Your right on the the configurations,I am back to the stock 250 (Sold my 330) When I stack with the PowerPDA it will limit the BDDL to 24,500 even in extreme,I like the BDDL for the fueling it has in OD,the stock Program defuel in OD ,I have not heard of anyone getting by this without some Type of Program change. The New PDA Has fuel setting you can really have it come on strong at the Bottom.
