American Eagle 186 MAX. tire diameter???

hi.. I just got a new set of 17x9 series 186 American Eagles delivered to my door. On the box it states a MAX. tire diameter of 32" for 17" wheels.. but in the installation guide, it states a MAX. diameter of 30".. what the??? what gives here? Is this for their car wheels? This wheel has a rating of 3,420 lbs.. I just looked the M/T Classic II up and their rating is only 3000 lbs? I never even thought about the max. tire diameter before I ordered these wheels, it's not stated on either AE's or M/T's website. Are they just protecting themselves from lawsuits here or what?

Hmm, with a 3420 lb load capacity I don't think it matters.

I'm running 37's on my 186's and never really gave it any thought. Tire shop never mentioned anything either. So far so good, been on there for 5 months.
