?? For all you Guys with Twins and TST
In Johns defense:
I went back and looked at the graphs again. John is correct. The truck only made around 1100 on the runs I posted. I was not looking at the TQ curves when I posted that. I knew there was a run/runs that exceeded or was close to 1400. Generally I dont look at the TQ as much. Remember these runs were made back a few months ago and with the overwhelming amount of dyno BS I talk about everyday...its no wonder I fudged it.
I found the two 1400 ft lb runs. They were actually 1461 and 1444 respectively and were in 1950-2000 rpm range. The HP was at 558.7. This was back when the trucks TQ curves closely matched the HP in peak. It had a single charger, TST PMCR, the F1 Pressure box, and was the 14th set of injectors we tried. I looked back in the notebook to get it all straight.
So, John is right on the numbers. I was mistaken. I will post the 1461 and 1444 runs in a few.
I have a Diesel only run here of 708 HP too, but I cant show that one. It would give away way too much.

Hohn,
It's cool... I probably jumped too quick, but I figured you were talking to me. Much like the VP44s have a HP limit around 750HP I feel the HPCRs have a similar limit, so I question the wild claims. Again, just my opinion.
Don,
Thanks for clearing that up.

Ok, got it up. Its the old days in the very begining. Poor truck was two weeks old. LOL. Depending on the tuning you can really move things around in these trucks. I think I have seen a few others in the 1400 ft lb range this past fall from other guys. One was water/methed up and one was NOS.
I did see a 1100 ft lb run this fall at 2900. HP was around 600. Small NOS. John from Floor it Diesel.

Don,
Are you saying those who are peaking at the 550hp mark is do to injectors? Was that 708hp run made with Twins, TST, pressure box, your EDM's and nothing else? Are you doing any ECM tuning? Are you seeing the same results with the 305/555?
Thanks,
Dan

LOL!! This sounds like when I was testing the Mach 6's. We cracked off a 635 HP run with twins and stock VP44. No one could believe. That was 18 or so months ago. Since then, the 6's have powered more than just a handful of trucks that high. The 6's take people further than anything out there.
Once we add the F1 pressure box, the TST, the twins and the injectors....good things happen. History does repeat itself
Dont you remember the 590 HP run with no pressure box? Life is good.

Hey, why don't you post some proof about what Don's stuff does or does not do? I mean, surely since you have access to his financial records

Don M- I have a set of 8 hole injectors 4 w/.006 extrude and 4 w/.012 EDM. What size are your injectors? Were running at 550 HP, how is it your not melting the motor with high EGT's? There must be a large set of twins and Water Meth, maybe NOS? I really don't understand where you are getting your numbers from? Where is the dyno chart? Oh I forgot, that's top secret. How do you sell a product without any supportive info? Anyone willing to buy these injectors without facts sure does deserve what they get!!
