I am looking into purchasing an larger aftermaket fuel tank to replace the stock tank. Now that the price of diesel has dropped I don't feel like I need a second mortgage on the house to fill up a puny 34 gallon tank. Who ever though one would miss being violated like that.
Presently there are two that I am aware of, one by Transfer Flow a 56 gallon unit and one by Areo Tanks a 60 gallon unit. Has anyone had experience self-installing either one of this tanks? Is either one superior to the other one? I do not want a bed tank as I do not wish to give up the bed space as I already have too much stuff there.

I have not yet gotten around to purchasing a new tank for my truck yet, but from what I have read Transferflow beats Aerotanks hands down. There were numerous threads over at TDR last year on this subject. Between the two I would definitely recommend Transferflow. As for Supertanks. last I knew they still didn't have anything for our trucks yet.
