i got an 07 with the 5.9 in it. i was wanting to know if an aftermarket exhaust manifold is worth my time. also how much does the EGT's drop. thanks

 

it dropped EGT's 50 to 75 dagree's for me, it didn't happen to me, but my car pool buddy cracked his stock one on his 05 and what a PIA that was, tryin to figure out what was wrong... I don't know if its really worth it though... If you tow heavy and often I would say its a very good idea, but if not it's up to you.

 

Better outflow, lower EGT's, some have reported a fuel mileage gain . . get it ceramic coated - lowers temps in engine bay too.

I have a 2nd gen manifold but it is aftermarket designed for better flow. I am VERY happy with mine.
