I finally got to install my K&N I picked up thursday.I cant beleive the sound difference. It sounds just like a jet engine now.I did,nt really feel a big jump in power but I was easy on it also.Im liking it so far.My exhaust is next.Hopefully next weekend. Its hard sneaking the parts on without the ol lady finding out .If she only knew how much I have in it now .I would be buying all new women stuff of equal value.I just redid her guest bathroom with new tile and countertops, sink and million dollar wallpaper. The propane kit is gonna cost me a buttload of remodling.

Keep an eye out on the intake tube. Heard the K&N's let lots of dirt go by.

As long as he does the proper maintenance and keeps it clean with the proper amount of oil the K&N filter will not let any dirt by. They are a good filter, they just need to be serviced.

intake

I ordered the new intake today. K&N 63-1532. They say it is the newest air charger for the 05 Cummins. Looking forward to seeing if there is any difference.
