So I bought a 5 inch diamond eye exhaust system for an 04.5-07 and my truck is an early 04. I didn’t realize it at the time till after I bought it. The problem I’m having is that the downpipe doesn’t fit to the elbow and I’ve read on here you can switch out the elbows from a he351 and put it on but is that all I would have to do in order to fit the downpipe or what are other options I could do to make it fit. Sorry in advance if I say anything that isn’t correct I’m new to this and any help will be greatly appreciated!

 

Not sure about swapping the elbow, but if you can find a good used complete 351 turbo it is a great low cost upgrade for your truck and then the exhaust would bolt up.
