47re Trans Up Grade
 

How much more hp and torque can the 47re trans take until it starts to slip. What would be some good trans up grade to do to that trans. I am planning to put an edge juice in my truck. I would like to use level 5 on the edge juice with out slipping.

The torque convertor on my stock 47RE started slipping with just the addition of an Edge EZ (198 hp stock->227 hp with the EZ). Upgrading the torque converter and a valve body capable of raising line pressures will be in order at least.

When you are done,,, Click Submit Modifications at the bottom of that page.

I could slip the old stock tranny at STOCK power. [eyecrazy] Can't slip the new one. :cool:
