Cool vid's, the commentary is great. Definitely beats Johnny's "camera phone" in which you couldn't see anything due to the 1" screen...

That truggy titan video is fan-tas-tic... Such a waste to see a built rig like that turn into a mallcrawler, not to mention burning up those 46"s.

I don't wanna hijack, but for a 6spd what's the best way to lanch in a race? 3rd or 2nd and just shift really fast?

Robbie was able to launch at 2000 rpms in 4wd if you launch in 3rd gear your truck will fall on its face youd have to launch at 3000rpms and have a dual disc clutch. He was running a south bend 550 and it held.

My computer's sound driver is not working at the office (I HATE PC's! ), so I couldn't hear what you're saying; but from all the pointing you're doing you sure look excited!

2nd to 3rd....fast

If you have the power and clutch, 3rd or 4th in 2wd will light up the tires pretty well.

Don't get me wrong, 'cause I like the power these trucks make as much as the next guy, but I'm trying to figure out what the thrill is in drag racing a 7,000 lb. truck? It seems if drag racing was my forte I'd buy an Evo IX or the likes.

Ah well, different power strokes for different folks.

Thats what makes it better when you pull up to a ricer or muscle car and burn them in a race with a 7,000 pound truck. Its almost defying the rules of racing by not using a lightweight car or truck that everyone around you can tell is fast then to have a somewhat stock looking truck. Just my opinion though.

i could have dressed the truck up....instead it looks mostly stock....the idea is to make it look like a "sleeper." If you saw that red truck sitting at a light, would you think it could leave the line leaving 4 black marks? i certainly wouldn't think so. thats why i love this stuff.

a long time ago, i shocked a Z06 at the drag strip. he saw my truck and laughed....then i left the line in 4wd at 20psi and left him. ofcourse he caught me but still he was shocked. People flock to fast diesels in the pits at drag strips....they are shocked.

i love it
