i have the opportunity to buy an afe stage II thats a month old and no wear. im really debating whether its worth it or should i just go with something cheaper. im mainly just lookin for a little more air but a lot more whistle . if anyone could help me fast it would be appreciated.

If whistle is what you want then why dont you buy the loudest system out there. It will be $100 cheaper then a used afe. AEM BruteForce all dat on ebay for $220 and loose the sliencer ring....

I personally wouldnt spend that kind of $$$ on a used inake

i tried to buy the afe off of ebay today but durin the last 10 min of biddin the internet stopped workin. i took it as a sign. i think im gunna go with the aem. and thanks for the advice cmnspwr. i just looked at a new thread and they said that the aem bruteforce was havin trouble fitting because of the hood.

 

Someone is smokin, because ive never heard about hood clearances, but oh well go w/ your gut feeling

Do some seraches here and at TDR on AEM, there were some members reporting less boost after the install because of the AEM's restrictive design.
