I'm new to the diesel world so meeting a couple people with some similar trucks with mods would be nice and a learning experience. I have small plans for my truck but nothing like stacking programmers, injectors, fuel pumps, etc. Im sure I'll do an exhaust, maybe eliminate the cat, suspension, wheels/tires, and a programmer for mileage.

He had it custom made. He also had a 1500 2wd short bed that had 12v in it before.

Whats everyones thoughts on lifting the front of the 2wd trucks up with the spindle lift or the daystar spacer. I dont want to do a complete lift to my truck because I park in a parking garage at work and still need 7ft clearance, but I want to make the truck level. Any advice or experiences that anyone can share?

Check my gallery. Stock suspension except for Daystar 2 inch leveling kit. No problems with clearance in garages at all.

I'd say the spindle lift if you feel like throwing out that much money for it!

Where is the best place to buy the daystar? Is it a easy install?

I've got the 1.5 Daystar, and I'd much rather have the spindle lift!

The daystar kit didn't even get close to leveling my truck, but thank God it helped a little bit. The spindle lift is more pricey, but it does its intended job better than any spacers could...

That's something I gotta do one day. With everything else that I want to do!

I am surprised it did not level your truck. The two inch Daystar leveled my truck just fine for me. I have had it on for one year with no problems so far.

have you had any trouble with the chrome on your helo's? ive had a heck of a time with pitting around where the spokes meet the rim. already had 2 replaced and the truck doesnt get drivin in the winter
