2008-2009 H2 Wheels

I just picked up a set of newer H2 Wheels. I machined the center opening out to fit the hubs on our trucks. I set my factory dodge center cap in and there is a gap between the outside diamter of the cap and the recessed center cap area on the wheel. Have any of you found a cap that fits this opening properly? Or have you just been running the wheels with the gap? I am kind of particular and do not like seeing that gap?

Nevermind. I found a post/thread from Fisherguy describing how to mill out the wheel to get the center cap to fit down in around the lugs. I plan on doing this sometime this week. This way I do not have to cut on my factory center caps. Thanks anyway.

I'm going to suggest the opposite - modify the center caps. For our hobbies and when fabbing anything this rings true: modify the less expensive part.

Obviously, your call. You're doing the work. I think either option looks and performs fine.

I modified the center caps. I sold the stocker wheels and wasn't going to be switching back to them again.
