I have a 2003 3500 5.9 Cummins HO , I have a Aurora 3000 turbo, 50hp sticks, ATS Arcflow intake horn and 5" exhaust no muffler. Right now I run a BullyDog PMT set at EXTREME, (+ 135hp ?) , it runs pretty darn good.
Anybody have any guesses as to what I'm putting out as far as HP and TQ ?
I was wondering what would getting rid of the BullyDog and throwing a Smarty set at SW8 or SW9 do for me ?
ALSO: What CUSTOM tuning is available for 2003 ? and what could I expect as far as TQ and HP with that setup ?
I'm kind of at a crossroads and REALLY wanting to go to 600HP (possibly running a compound setup)
But that would require going with head studs , and while your in there go for higher HP sticks .... like 75hp or more ??
What would you guys do ?
Really want to know how much switching to a Smarty Touch would help me out............

Put your truck on a dyno if you want real #.
Other wise you are just waiting for a guy to tell you you have 2000 FT LBs of torque, even though he has no idea. What good is a made up number from a guy you have no idea if he even owns a 3rd gen.

Expecting to find a guy that has the same long list of mods done to a 20+ year old truck AND tried both tuners AND put it on a dyno to get real #…is pretty slim.

Maybe call Smarty and see what they have to say.

 

Thanks for the reply, ya, was trying to save myself a trip to the dyno, I figured they were fairly common upgrades, so I took a shot.
There is a turbo test shootout with, The turbochargers in this test are the stock Holset HE351CW, BD Killer B, Industrial Injection 62/80SB, Fleece Holset Cheetah, Engineered Diesel 63mm Billet S300, and ATS Aurora 3000.
In that comparison the A3k did produce 583 hp, but that was on a 2007 5.9 with custom tuning, and 45% over injectors (mine are 50hp/ 22% ? over stock) . Two items that can make a lot of difference compared to my setup.
Spilt-balling I was thinking I was around 450hp, hoping for 475hp, and if bullshitting 500hp
