Well I just got back from the trans shop. No more shifting issues. The pan was dropped and the solenoid screen was cleaned the throttle pressure adjustment was turned in 2 turns and new fluid was added. The trade off is now and then it kinda clunks on the 2-1 downshift when coming to a stop. For me the trade off is acceptable as its much less aggrevating than the shuttle shift.
