so small ? whats the diff between the 06 and 07 5.9 dodges...is the 07 such an odd ball???? mor on the lines of installing programmers and chips..like i have an 03-07 supechip...wont wrk..installed edge juice w/a and all plugged up but was edj300b and i was told thats for an 06...im like whats the big deal here?? thanks!

 

The 06 and newer trucks have the new communication buss protical for the on board moduals. It is call the can bus. This new system will NOT talk to the OBD II or any older scaners / programers. The 5.9 CTD was only used for 1.5years with this can buss. Alot of sellers out there are ignorant of this fact and try to sell there programers as a one size fits all 5.9 common rails. The 6.7 CTD continued to use the can buss.
