04.5-05 Quadzilla Race Box Customers please read!!!

After spending a lot of time fixing a couple of issues for 04.5-05 trucks I found some ways to stertch the injector pulse almost 3 times at lower rpm's than we currently do now. We have been testing this locally for a little while and I would like to let a few Race box owners try it out.

What you will get:

Wicked Throttle responce
Approx 60 ft lbs of torque more at low rpm
A considerable amount of smoke at lower rpm's, but 40+psi will clean it up!

The fix alters all 3 settings, but the biggest gain will be in the 130hp setting.

Our Mega Cab will lgiht the tires from a roll all the way through 2nd, so some of you power junkies may enjoy this.

I want 5 guys that are into the more hardcore power. The first 5 that PM will get info back on what you need to do to send your module in and get the upgrade.

I sent mine in and was wondering if anyone has gotten theirs back yet and what they have experienced with it. This is my first post and let me tell you this site is the best. I have learned so much already, since this is my first diesel, and I am looking for the number for DTR annonymous. I have to pull myself off this computer because everything is so interesting and informative. I will be posting my impressions of the box when I get it back. By the way, I have noticed an increase in mileage and will let you guys know what I am getting in a few tanks. I have 17000 miles on the truck now.

My poor simple 2003 doesn't get such an enhancement? Is it possible that the 305/555 crowd already makes more power down there and thus doesn't need such a mod?

I'm there also!! I have a DTR Drag event coming up at the first of the year and I'd really like to improve upon my 14.94 @91.5 mph.

As evidenced by this video (I'm on the left) there seems to be virtually no smoke at anytime coming from my rig.

I'll gladly post time improvements along with the video after the first of Jan.

That looks just like my truck going down the road. I am waiting very "patiently". Nice video man. Looked like the other guy blinked at the light.

Put my updated box in, put about 100 miles on one trip, then another 1200 from Columbia to Tampa and back. Power comes on both stronger and smoother, much improved throttle response, little to no smoke, surge/miss is gone, and no codes or MIL/CELs! EGTs are no issue, highest I ever saw was while playing w/ a Powerjoke - on highest setting, ran hard uphill and down, never topped 1150. Also, clatter is reduced - was minimal before unless I romped it, but is much quieter now. On the 60 hp setting highway mileage was 21.4, and 100 hp mileage was 18.9. Hard to fight the giggle factor and drive without playing now.......
Quad - you done good, brother - and thanks for taking the high road, providing great customer service, and follow-up. I'll send business your way any day.

2005 CTD,

The other guy was CaSmokin who was never more than 3/4 second off of me all day with a 6sp handshaker!!! That boy knows how to row!

Thanks for the compliment
