Sometimes when I start up and the engine is warm I get display where all the gear positions are illuminated (wish I had made a picture). First time it happened, three weeks ago, I drove a little and it sure felt like the transmission was operating in "limp mode". It seems when this happens I can just shift in to 'D' and all is okay with normal display. Just 2 days ago, I had to turn engine off, then back on to get it to go normal. Temperatures seem normal, never get overheat light. I just finished 1000 mile, 2 week trip, pulling 7000llbs, travel trailer. Shifting, up hills, down hills, engine braking - - all went normal. Except for the 2 or 3 times she started with that strange display where all transmission positions were illuminated.

I suppose I can take it to a shop and get the fluid changed, but what am I to expect?
