Transmission Efficiency & Cooling needs

What is the efficiency of a 3rd gen auto and manual transmission? Assume that both transmissions are in direct drive (1:1 - 4th gear for manual; no idea for auto). Also assume that the torque converter is locked up on the auto.

Next question is about the transmission cooling. Suppose that the engine was putting out 300 hp at 2800 rpm. Is the auto transmission cooler sized for this kind of continuous power? Would the manual transmission need a cooler?

Finally, some questions on the automatic transmission cooler. What is the temperature of the hot oil as it leaves the transmission and the temperature of the cooled oil after it exits the cooler? What is the oil flow rate? What is the size of the transmission cooler?

I realize that answers for these engineering questions are difficult to obtain. If anyone has any answers or insight on this topic, it would be very helpful to me for a project that I am working on.

Thanks in advance!
