Surprise features

I found these convenient surprises within the first week of ownership, but I'm sure some could overlook them. I'm coming from a 2nd gen, so I don't know if these features are exclusive to the 2007/2008 or if they have been available since 2003:

Fuel door has fingers to hold the cap so it does not dangle against the truck during fill-ups

Sun Visors can extend on a telescopic boom

Bench Seat has storage under console (knew about this one before purchase)

12v power inside the center console (knew about this one too)

I'm sure there are other cool but subtle features - feel free to post your findings... BTW - where's my coin holder

In the business console and it's are also standard on Levi's and Wranglers, they're called pockets.

Don't forget the garbage bag holder.

It's the little hook on the passenger's side of the center console, lower part of the dash.

Somebody check the price from Dodge on that coin holder. Heard it was stupid expensive from a kid that just went to the dealer to get one for his 07...

EGR helps warm the truck when cold but uses more fuel.
Exhaust brake helps slow the truck but uses more fuel.
DPF helps clean the air but uses more fuel.
Bigger engine more power but uses more fuel.
Wonder if the people who design these trucks also the same people own the oil companies.

I kept the coin holder from my 07 when I saw the 08 did not have one. I was surprised that the little built in coin holders were eliminated for the center console too.
The trash bag hook is gone too so I just hang my little trash bag on the corner of the glove box then close the door. I have found that the donut bags from 7-11 make great trash bags because they are not too big....
I have a decked out truck with the sunroof and power rear slider. Opening both of them really works well to get air circulating in the cab. I really like that.

I would guess that instead of taking the truck out of gear, or the converter unlocking and allowing the rpm's to drop to near idle speed they stay up....not sure perhaps someone else can chime in.
