Yeah the credit problems are interesting. Too many people took mortgages without reading them. Now that they are adjusting they ******. But remember, Chaos brings opportunity, How much you want for your truck?

Exactly. Sounds like doomsday is coming here from these comments. The strong survive and capitalize. I wish gas would go up to $10 a gallon and maybe less people would be on the road... Or they'd hock their important things just to keep that driving priviledge. I'll be looking out for such. Buyer's market is back again.

a 6.7 is not something I see myself buying anytime soon. I dont care for all the emissions that they have put on them even they had too. ive heard lots of issues with them here local. I plan to just stay with a 5.9

I like the fact that my 6.7 is the most enviormentally friendly diesel to date. And it makes more power then the 5.9, it's cutting edge, dont be afraid of technology...

I'd buy one, if they were 20k cheaper. A guy has to have fun while he can. The 6.7 is great, most bugs are worked out. The 6 speed auto has to be light years better than the 48re so that's a big plus.

The biggest downside is the cost. If you can really afford it, then enjoy the ride while it lasts.

Thats right, opportunity. I would be a good time to swoop in like Grinch and get a steal on a late model truck when all the Who's down in Whoville are crying "Boo-hoo" and can't make the payments any more ... "as the Fatcat said with a grin".

To the original poster: I bought mine in July, and have 5K miles on it. About 800 miles towing my 5'ver, the rest is mostly mixed city/hwy. I have been getting 15 mpg mixed, just got 19 mpg on my recent deer camp trip (hand calulated). I've had two program flashes for the CEL, and the recent recal O2 sensor even though no problems have been noticed since the flash for the AU back in September. Truck pulls great, and runs great. My old '99 got a milage improvement at 20K and at 65K, as did my old '05, so I expect this one will do similarly. I would do my trade again without hesitation. As to fuel, it is illegal to intoduce LSD into the trucks marked ULSD only, but rare occasional usage probably won't harm anything. I've only had difficulty finding ULSD near my deer camp, but was able to get some 20 miles away so no problem. YMMV, but many of us have had no issues other than a few program flashes, while some have had issues and that is what you will mostly hear about on any forum, so consider that when reading forums. Good luck whatever you decide.

I have 2.... the C&C has about 13k on it.... 10k hauling either 3 ton in the dumpbody or towing weighing in at a gross of about 25k..... 6 spd aut with 4.10's and i'm averaging 10-12 mpg loaded and about 14-a6 mpg unloaded around town or highway....truck has more ***** than that of anything else you could even compare it to, and i've drivin the new Powerchokes and dirtymax's....they may be faster from light to light....but we'll beatem to 300k and we'll make that light to light pass everytime without question.....

My other truck is a QC SB auto with about 20k on it and i'm gettin about 16 all around MPG with that....considering it as a 4inch lift with 37's....i'll post pictures in a few days...... all in all....the trucks are amazing...i'd buy another tomorrow.....
