I read on another post here on DTR about regen notifications on there overhead console ( I presume) I have NEVER gotten any notification on my truck if or when it is going thru regen...its only got 45,000 kms on it...what should I be looking for? Are there different kinds of regens?

 

Fill in signature and list truck. The 2007.5 does not show regen on overhead. I think the '08 + is suppossed to but not sure what screen you need the overhead on since mine is an '07.5

 

I have an 08 and have never seen message. Not sure if you can get message.

On my 2007.5 truck, I got messages of DPF 80% full, 90% full and 95% full and then the REGENERATION REQUIRED NOW and the warning dings. Since my dpf fell off due to our rough roads, its been 2 years of no CEL's, no regenerations and clean oil for 3,000 miles.

 

I have an Edge Insight and that lets me know when the truck is in regen. When running empty it will regen frequently, about every couple hundred miles or so. When towing heavy it regens much less. I'll be doing the deletes very soon since my warranty is close to being expired.
