My thinking is a whole lot faster than my typin!!! It's a 97 3500(d350)auto., I didn't know you could run at 80 mph. w 4:10's ,but then i only dr., 60-68. I would think that hy. rpm.,would nnot be gooood,on the eng. or rearend! This info., is for a friend of mine., someone told him hecouldn't get or they didn't make rin-gear&pinion for his trk., in 3:55 ,i told him " I know some PEOPLE".

it is a standard Dana rear end. parts are everywhere. is it a 4x4? if so, he will have to change front gears to prevent t-case damage

I just added a Gear Venders Overdrive Unit ($3200) to get away from 4:10's, fuel mileage is up, and still able to tow 28 foot 5th wheel. I would stay away from 4:10's again, If I could help it.
