That one is cool and it fits in a standard cigarette lighter spot! That would be cool as then I wouldn't have to move my 4wd switch. I don't use the cig lighter anyway. Hmm...

I'm not sure the circuitry is in the switch to light it up. I believe they would have done it if they had kept it a few more years.

Im certain it can be done. Just figure out what your switch outputs for the starter relay at the start position and wire it accordingly. You would just half to play with it.

And btw, I love that quote in your sig. Had a good belly laugh at that this morning.

busy trying to move right now so no time to monkey around with the truck just yet.... i realize that the key has to be in the "on" position but does this switch still allow you to use the key to start the truck?

You can do it to any truck. I did it special for the '06 and ups because it requires a resistor in the line, whereas all other trucks just jump on the starter wire. THe bezel helps to make this a direct fit. 03-05 have a specific bezel as well. I have seen some lighted switches out there that take the place of cigar lighters and are lighted. I just wanted the full factory look.

That why I like it. Looks like it was intended to be there.

This would be really cool if the bezel ring LED lit up yellow or red while the grid heaters were on and changed to blue when they go out.
