Unhappy P2a01 - Need Help

I got the P2a01-o2 Sensor 1/2 Circuit Performance code yesterday. What causes this?

Went to the dealer and told the service manager about the codes. I told the g30 recall has been done and I been in regen quite a bit lately.

I told him I can't help the long idles, due to traffic. Also when I go into regen, and the egt gets pretty high, I don't want to shut it off, til it cools down a bit. He says that DC designed the 6.7 to be opperated as a no brainer. Just get in and drive, work it hard and don't idle to long. I asked him about cool downs for the turbo and he replied that the new turbo could withstand very high temp, above 2000 deg.

I said are you sure? he said yes. WOW that sounds far fetched to me. He said that regen is around 1400 deg. and the turbo should handle the high heat, even if you turn the truck off right away it is fine.

Is he wacked or does he know what he is talking about?

Your 02 sensors are coated in soot, pull them out and blow clean with compressed air-no cleaners.
