Yes... if you use any other key than your programed key it will throw that code..I had the same problem,I used the spare key i have and it threw the code..plug in the smarty & clear the code. I made a copy of a key one time started the truck..it ran for 2 seconds then shut down..your key must be programed....smarty will clear the code........
