Gosh. My feelings are hurt now. And to think I was gonna let you hang out at the Steel Wheel Clubhouse. I'm not sure I can even let you be our janitor now.

And I AM still a member of the ManVan club......

I thought it was bartender? You've always got membership wherever I go. No card necessary.

...and leader/originator of the MegaPimpVan club. Maybe sole member?

I bet I could hang a disco ball in the back area....hmmmmm

Hey, buddy... you painted the grill chrome or silver? High gloss?

I have the honeycomb pattern in mine, and I want chrome... figured on finding some chrome in a rattle can, but so far, all I can find is interior paint.

Looks REALLY good

Ratl's special "oem" push button start.

Gonna have to put mine back on. Pulled it off when having all that battery trouble and didnt get around to putting it back on.

Chris, truck looks awesome. Where did you get the door handles. I want to have mine painted and the pulls chrome like you did.

Thanks. It's just the SRT-10 push start button. Blake named the mod after me.

I had one of my painter's at work spray them with matching auto paint and clear coat. Good plan, but not the full result I was after. It looks as good as the chrome but there's the risk it will lift if a bug hits it. We mixed in hardener and flex but it is bonding to plastic. Watch out for chrome in a can. It's just a little brighter silver. Plating can't be duplicated in spray form. Thanks Mark

Thanks Blake. I only wanted the center parts and found them cheap on Amazon. Only problem is I wanted the smooth style and I got the grooved ones with finger indent. Still look good but do look added on where as the smooth style looks like the factory put em there.

I have the new one coming in on Monday. I'll do the pics as I go. I thought there was a write-up on here. Can't remember where. I'll just do it. This was the one in my last truck.

Parts here and here

Ok just tried those links and they wont work. Follow this, Dodge parts.com Truck 2006 1500. Tree- Instrument panel, cluster and switches, switch, ignition (for the push button) and Instrument panel, cluster and switches, switch bezel, (for the bezel)

Now if you have the 4x4 with the electronic transfer case switch its a bit more work. I had to cut and extend the harness and move it to the other side where the empty pocket is. Not major work, just another step.
